Leader. They inspire those around them; they inspire you to hurry, they inspire you to get better. Leader. They inspire trust. They encourage self-growth. They inspire acceptance of failure. They arouse curiosity. They inspire determination. They inspire perseverance. They inspire patience. They inspire strength. They inspire you to become a better, bigger, stronger, smarter, and more determined version of yourself.
Managers motivate their fellow human beings to tirelessly improve with their growth mentality and their tireless openness to new ideas. A good leader knows when he opens his eyes, when sunlight hits that door, it's time.
It's time to get up and do better than yesterday, be better than yesterday, have more knowledge than yesterday.
How?
Be present at all times.
Before we begin, I want to be frank with you that this theory has received a lot of criticism. These criticisms have related to not having a fixed focus, treating leadership as if there is no mutual relationship between leader and followers, having excessive captions and traits for the leader, and the like.
The first reason I wanted to mention this here is the factor of individual differences. Each individual chooses to apply this technique in their own way and therefore their applications of the model will be different. Each brings a different component that arises from its unique characteristics and the perspective from which it views leadership.
The answer to "What is leadership?" it will be different, and it's beautiful because it presents us with a diverse leader and unique team members.
The second reason is that I believe in taking something new from each article, reinventing the technique or theory in our own way, applying it to our own characteristics and perspectives, and implementing a mix in our workplace.

What is Transformational Leadership: Definition of Transformational Leadership
To introduce Transformational Leadership, I would like to introduce a thought bubble.
According to leadership experts, the thought bubble consists of phrases and adjectives that define transformative leadership. These thoughts should give you an idea of the definition of Transformational Leadership.
Since we'll cover each of these traits and abilities in the next few paragraphs, let's leave them here to trigger somedebate.
Transformational leadership style
Knowledge + experience + coaching =Transformation
Transformational leaders create a shared vision, inspire and motivate their team to carry out that mission by building trust and transforming their work environment as a result.
Leadership experts group these skills under 4 main headings or 4 behaviors:
- idealized influence
- inspirational motivation
- intellectual stimulation
- individualized consideration
Now let's examine these 4 types of behavior and provide a simple formula for each of them below.
Without further ado, let's do it!
1. Idealized influence
{Work hard + be a role model + be ethical + inspire + emphasize a common mission}
The first transformative leadership style is about attitudes that represent the ideal role model for team members. It's about walking the talk, inspiring people by practicing what they preach, earning their trust by their own actions and with high standards of ethics and principles, putting their needs ahead of yours.
The importance of psychology is enormous when it comes to leadership. If you, as a leader, are an idealized influence in the eyes of your team members, they will start looking up to you as their role model. This process is often unconscious, meaning team members don't model you alone, but gain their trust through your actions and your kindness towards them.
Again idealized influence:
- ideal model
- "Walking to Talk"
- "Practice What They Preach"
- Build trust through action
- The follower's needs come before your own
- High standards and ethical principles
2. Inspirational motivation
{developing a promising vision + engaging and inspiring stories + emotional calls to work harder}
Remember we talked about inspiration in almost all of our articles? Leadership is about providing inspirational motivation to your team members so they can achieve a better version of themselves. You inspire them to be confident and motivated with yoursConsistentlyVision, canon of values, enthusiasm and optimism, emotional appeal and high expectations. You motivate them to step out of their comfort zone in order to accomplish the task assigned to them or to achieve self-growth through the inspiration you bring.
Read that again. Consistency. Consistency is key. Transformational leadership isn't about everyday actions, it's about repeating them hundreds of times and making those behaviors a habit. There is no way to become a Transformational Leader overnight, it takes perseverance and determination to wake up to the sunshine each day to become one and reach your full potential.
To reiterate, inspirational motivation:
- Confidence, inspiration and motivation
- Consistent vision
- Mission and canon of values
- sense of meaning
- enthusiasm and optimism
- Excellent communication

3. Intellectual stimulation
{Coaching & Mentoring + Promotion of creativity and "outside the box" atmosphere + Tolerance for mistakes/failures + calculated risks}
A leader encourages. A Transformational Leader inspires members to have better ideas, to be more efficient, more creative and more visionary; for more. With this Transformational Leader attitude, members feel encouraged to share new ideas, they know they won't be judged when they fail, and on the contrary, they learn from their mistakes and polish themselves for the next task. You will be committed to finding bold and creative solutions to problems in the workplace and will be drawn to complexity and challenges.
The Transformational Leader gives objective and constructive feedback through intellectual stimulation, but avoids harsh criticism of mistakes in the work environment. The Transformational Leader encourages team members to learn through change.
In short, intellectual stimulation brings:
- New ideas
- Avoid criticism for mistakes
- change and experience
- promoted autonomy
- Overview and refuted assumptions
- Commitment to problem solving
4. Individual consideration
{coaching + listening + offering resources}
Being a leader doesn't mean being self-centered and having "alpha" skills to beat competitors in the field of work. Being a transformational leader doesn't mean being a dictator, and neither should you.
You must honestly care about the needs and feelings of your team members. I would like to note here that several sources refer to team members as "followers". I think that unquestionably implies that I follow them, which is why I do my best to avoid using that term. Following implies inaction, and I find that grossly inaccurate.
For transformation to occur in the workplace, each member must critique and challenge the Transformational Leader's vision and thoughts in order to achieve a better outcome, achieve a better outcome, achieve real and ongoing success, and create an alliance between the leader and the create members. individualized considerationdoes not indicate discrimination.
In short, an individualized view requires:
- Genuine interest in the needs and feelings of team members
- Personal attention, constructive and objective feedback
